I know that this is an easy fish to spawn, but this is my first batch of White Cloud fry. I am excited, always a joy when you have a different species breed. Please don't think that I am ridiculous getting happy for this species, but always read how simple they are to spawn, now I know for myself. Any advice from the guys on the forum on the result if I had to move the breeding shoal into one of my ponds outside.

Will try and post some pictures, but don't know if I can capture them as I don't have a macro lens.

    Regards Shaun

Thanks guys. I have bred angels, gouramis, bettas, corydoras, discus, livebearers, cichlids of all sorts in the past but it is always exciting for something new.

Okay this is the first time I am posting a picture, so lets hope I get it right. Used my Nikon with the standard 18-55mm lens. You can see them at least. Now to invest in a good lens.
Hi Mattie, thanks for that information, Do the ones you have in the pond spawn during the spring and summer months only? What filtration are you using for them, so that the eggs and fry don't get sucked up by a powerful pond filter.
