    Hi there all,
Found these eggs in my tank yesterday.
Have cories and ottos, but can't seem to figure out who actually laid the eggs. The cory still a bit big and the one otto seems to be sligjtly slimmer than the day before.
    Any ideas?
Google does not seem not help, just add to the confusion..

Very interesting, the eggs look quite big in the first photo..
Do the parents just leave the eggs lying around to hatch?

Ok... so then the eggs just hatch without any attention from the parents... interesting.. learnt something new!

Lol yea that's why the best way to breed them is a bare tank and once they spawn you remove the adults and leave the eggs to hatch.
Trying to remove the eggs are almost impossible since they are realy sticky although I've had some luck scraping them off the glass with a razor blade

Scraping the eggs off with a blade is dangerous to the eggs.
I prefer using a plastic credit type card.

I have started leaving all eggs in the community tank I have my Pandas in.
Eggs don't last though, as they are eaten within minutes by Assassin snails.

Getting the eggs out is not difficult, just time consuming.
I sometimes use a plastic card but mostly use my fingers. The eggs might seem fragile but you develop a feeling for them.
A pipette can sometimes be useful too.

Hi there guys, thank you for all the replies.
I removed some of the eggs and left a few. Saw one fry in the my 20L and somehow it just dissapeared. None of the other eggs hatched. The eggs left in my main tank is also gone.
    How frequently do they spawn?
Will be interesting to try and keep them alive. Was so chuffed and now :(.

There are several ways to trigger a spawn, in nature they spawn after thunderstorms and heavy rain when the water temp drops.
So you can try and mimic that by doing a large water change with colder water. I have even heard of people floating blocks of ice in their tanks to trigger a spawn.
Personally I just keep them well fed and somehow they know when they changes because almost every time after a heavy rainfall they spawn for me, they must be sensitive to the drop in barometric pressure or something
