    Hallo!

    The past two days I've noticed very tiny bubbles (smaller than those made by a Betta) on top of the water, usually against the sides, in my 15 liter tanks.

    Any ideas? Is it something that I should worry about?

    All planted and heated with 25 watt heaters and ugf - still have to install my newly aquired Sponge Filters. Daily water changes. Stock - Galaxy Rasbora, Threadfin Rainbow, Betta (each in their own tank) Each gets fed their own type and amount of food. Use prime for declorinator. No ferts. Lights 2 x 330 lumen, 4000k Cool white globes covering all 3 tanks.

    Other Bubbles. Couldn't get a clear shot. But you'll notice them behind the heater and on the left hand side of the photo.

    Hi Angie,

    The small bubbles appears in the tank next to his as well, but I don't have a Betta in there anymore, only threadfin rainbows. I didn't pay attention to it in the Betta tank, thought it was just part of his bubbles, but now that it's showing up in the other tanks it raises a concern.

    Hi Dinky do u have A betta in that tank? If not? Your flow is certanly not strong with an ugf, you have good ligting there, could be pearling from plants, but seems a bit big. Does your plants pearl?

    It does look like betta bubbles though?

    @HennieRoux

    Hi Hennie,

    Yes, the one tank has a Betta in but the other two doesn't.

    I've checked the plants and they do have a little bubbles on the back of the leaves.

    The first picture with bubbles is my Betta's bubble nest. The second picture with bubbles that's not very clearly visible, is my cause for concern. It's really tiny bubbles. It would take about six of those tiny bubbles to fill one of the Betta's bubbles.

    Then the possibility of it being pearling is about 90 % so good no worries there, u dont need co2 for pearling lighting is the key, that would b my educated recomended guess. So all cool
