Measure the outside diameter and then the thickness. Go to bearingman. They should be able to help. I know there is a place in Cape Town that has TONS of different sizes of orings but I cannot remember the name.

Forget about trying to get orings from the manufacturers of the filter, that will take too long.

    Best of luck

Spoke to guys at northlands, apparently this a common problem with the ex1200. It isint actually the o ring thats the problem its actually the primer pump. So opened it up this afternoon n filled it with silicone, works a 100%

@HEIHACHI - How did you seal the primer pump? Opened the pump unit from inside, unscrewing the screws?
Mine still working fine, but only used the primer pump the first time I started up the filter. Now just use the suction in the pipes to prime after cleaning.
There get some air into the canister, but tapping and moving the filter around while running gets all the air out.

@HETHACHI He He I just fixed mine even bought new "o" ring and it still pumped out more water than back to the tank you will see if you look from the top there are two screws where you can loosen the top cover from the rest of the pump/top if you look under the "o" ring there you will find that the screw made a hole in your "o" ring groove I had to silicone the whole groove and it stopped leaking.

    Regards Willem

    The ones under the Clamps.

If any body else have a problem and it's not the primmer pump.

@Williamh yes opened it up completely there is a little rubber rectangular gasket took it out wiped it dry and just filled silicone around the edges and screwed the primer pump back into place.

@Willem also made the mistake of buying another o ring. Luckily you are a lot better at the diy than I am
