    Tetra Prima is very good.
It floats for a few seconds and then sinks.
If you don't over feed, it shouldn't end up in the filter.

It gets eaten way before it can reach the filter,

They also appreciate clean water. They can be very sensitive as well. Keep them on the warmer side.

Thanks guys...Yup-that internal filter really does a good job...And the two canisters with 500ml purigen & 1.5L Matrix is a bonus! (Purigen all in one canister , Matrix split in two with one of the canisters also on ceramics rings-so there is lots for bacteria to grow on...Keeping temp on 27 degrees , but I am gonna put it on 28 now for just in case a power cut comes & it drops...

Neltf your profile does not have location on it - maybe update that. As for temperature drops and since you tank is in a living space - you can always add a blanket over it either during the night (saves huge on electricity) or when you have a power-outage.

I would consider better tank insulation before heating a tank extra just in-case of a power-outage.

I am assuming we talking about these tank busters as the relevant clown? Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus) Loaches Online

My experience they will even do ok at much much lower temps - but they do not like fast swings that much (so think WC time). The higher one pushes the normal temp the more preparation you need to do when you want to do a quick WC. Depending on the other tank mates I would even over the longer term consider dropping it below 25 but that is just me. *Lower temps means less waist / eating etc.

Whatever you decide, do not make big moves so dropping the temp.
