Terta Tech spares for ex700

Hi all.

Looking for filter impeller and external filter taps.

Is any one out there who can assist. Note I need for 700 even though pic say 600

Most shops that sells tetratec would be able to order this for u i am sure..

 

I must be honest im also one of the very few who has a working EX700 and I cannot find spares anywhere in DBN, but then again... it is DBN.

 

I am trying to get a spare impeller for my two 700s but it appears that even the supplier doesn't have

 

yeah im not too sure what the issue is with tetratec, it seems that they had a lot of reliability issues at some point which put everyone off their product. When I tell people what im using they don't believe I have a working 700 ! im looking for a second hand canister now as repairing or replacing the tetratec is proving impossible.

Mine has been going strong for 3 years now till last night. And I bought it 2nd hand.

 

oooh sorry mate, bought mine second hand, used for two years, put it in a cupboard for two years, switched it on last week and its 100%

I believe "old" ones were good but almost everyone I have spoken to has a moan about a tetratec now I wait with baited breath..

 

Hi Derek, we managed to source you the impeller and tap set, it's being sent up and will arrive early next week at Jungle Aquatics, I've ordered extra tap sets for the 600/700 and 1200 model as well coming next week.

I droped my impeller and broke , I got a new one and got an impeller from Sarie , 2 years and still not a single issue with my tetra ex700 . Do remember to not get the steel impeller

When my tetratec 1200 sprung a leak and the shop I bought it from proved useless I contacted Marltons, the agents for Tetra directly, had the spares delivered to my house within two days, but it was a warrantee claim.
