    What are your thoughts about still water?
    Using still water for WC on smaller tanks?
    Does it have to be treated?
    Is anybody using still water that might be able to shed some light on this topic?

    @Singularity I might challange that.
    Its oxynated water at fruit and veg well at least in the pretoria ones
    They process is done by ozone which is O3
    expecially at fruit and veg places (not namly at fruit and veg city or what ever)
    they use that type of water to keep thier produce fresh "killing off nasties"
    So the fresh produce can stay "sellable for longer"
    Places where they dont use that water to wash thier produce may be using RO units
    Ro and ozone are 2 types of products
    I chose to invest into a O3 instead of RO units but till today
    I used it once .. cos it will kill off algae, bateria and almost maybe my fish and me :D
    but its not a commercial unit - it only max realease 0.25mg a hour which wont really do
    me much harm. I did set it at like 0.15mg for a day.
    it may knock out my sump so I stopped

    I use 80% RO water. Its because potch water is very bad and i have fish which needs softer water.
