Stary things, rep power and neon groups?

I'm relatively new, so excuse me asking... what is the progression ranks from neon..... to ........ to.... & when does that take place....

I also notice a number next to each name... Rep power.... How many posts to increase, and then lastly... The stary thingies that appears above a thread... What is that about....????

 

No number of post can increase your rep power, those come with time and given to you by other members.
The stars are to rate a thread as good or not.

 

And the grouping??

 

Changed mine at neon so never saw the rest.

 

So, you're saying that this is not an automatic progression.... you have to change it yourself????

 

Starry things are how people have rated the thread. Very seldom done actually.

"Neon" can be changed yourself.

Rep power increases the longer you are on the forum. The more reputation points given to you by other members also increases your rep power.

Cheetah, at the top of the page, just under the logo is a "FAQ" button. Click it. It gives a huge amount of information on how the runnings of the forum happens. Very few people have actually taken the time to read it, but it is there.
