    HI

Due to me not getting my tank sold, I unfortunately\fortunately have to sell all my current fish and redo my tank with herbivorous fish(is that a correct term?). So I would like some suggestions on how many and what type of fish will make a great community in my tank(see signature for size.)

    ThanK you

Types of fish is totally personal taste but you must keep in mind the compatibility. Also you need, bottom, middel and surface swimmers/feeders

    ---------- Post added at 12:01 ---------- Previous post was at 12:01 ----------

Bottom. Corydoras catfish or the Bristlenose
Mid. Danios, Neon, platty, barbs(in school of 6+)
    Top. Swordtails, pearl gouramies.

True, thank you for the reply, If I am not mistaking the fish in you avatar is Kribensis...? How are their compatibility in a community, my idea is to create a very colourful community and also natural plants, I dont know much about plants so there I will like some ideas.

    Thankyou again

The fish Go-Big mentioned are not fish that grow big, but I will rather scale down a little bit and put half of those fish in your tank. With all the fish he mentioned I can believe that it's an incredibly colourfull display. In your tank you can introduce a lot of small fish, but remember that they need space to swim and that your water needs to be well oxygenated to house all of them.

Good luck Jodyc. Keep us updated.

The list of fishes i mentioned is what i have in a 1200L tank and it works. Obviously it must be scaled down for a 420L. And yes very colourfull and a joy to watch.
