Spiny eel

Not once in my life have i felt this good!

After taking in brads spiny eel i never saw him out and about until yesterday.
Last night he was swimming around happily when i decided to try and hand feed him:amazed:

I failed at 1st attempted until 5 minutes ago!!! Grabbed the net, got me a fry, held his tail and in i went!
He looked confused at 1st but then gently took it from my hand (well really my fingers)!!!

I was so amazed and rushed to call everyone in the house to repeat the
process and this time he new exactly what he was getting! a nice juicing molly fry

Brads im not 100% how much i am suppose to be feeding so could you please help me out?

Thats really great! (less so for the molly fry though. . .) I used to have a big Black Ghost knife, one of my favourite fish that ate from my hand. Makes you feel like a champ!

Yeah mine takes it and its gone! So hard to grab those little things tails.

 

feed the molly fry a good diet the tetra prima you have is good .
once you feed the fry straight after they eat feed one to the eel , this ensures he gets enough nutrients . feed 1 fry a day .

its a gangsta fish man I didn't want to part with him but him and my ghost knife were not getting along .

try earth worms next he goes mad for them , but make sure you soak the worms in water for 2 hours before feeding
