    Just shows you. Piranhas aren't the monsters they are made out to be. Those Otters hunted and ate them as they would any other fish.

    Those Arapaima look amazing. A bit too big for a tank though.

    Yup. I know they are BL in SA, but here you can get them quite freely.
    What really annoys me are the disgusting You Tube videos you see of people feeding them live mice. Really cruel.

    At one point I considered having my tank as an Amazon biotype. Maybe with Altum Angels, or WC Discus, some Cats, some tetras. But my tap water isn't suitable and I can't go the RO route.

    This clips is soooo cool, love watching the amazonian fish in their natural habitat. For those of you close by I have a movie about pirranah in the wild, will be happy to make some coppys for those that likes this kind of thing.
