Question?

Hey guys I noticed that my tanks water temperature rises to 29 when I switch on both my T5's in my Jebo (they get pretty hot) but it never goes above that and when I switch them off it dips back to 27. Should I be concerned about this or should I leave it as is?

 

What if you installed a small pc fan?

 

Yeah was thinking about that I am going to switch off the lights just now and see what happens to the water temprature, I installed a airstone to see if it would help with a drop in water temprature. I stuck in my digital and it is currently reading 28.5

 

Okay never-mind I had a massive brain fart. After monitoring the water temperature of my Jebo after I switched off the T5 lights I only noticed a 1°C drop from 29°C down to 28°C and it slowly dropped to a stable 27°C. I then check my Oscar tank the every same thing was happening there minus the 1°C increase due to the lights. I also measured the outside temperature and sure enough it was 27°C at the time so yeah smaller tank show heat changes faster <Insert brain fart here>
