    They look like Leporinus Fasciatus, but the bands look a little strange? Could just be Juviniles? The bands seperate out into 10 distinct bands when mature.

    As for where to get them.... Sponsors can step in now?

    Young Leporinus species...Could be L.affinis maybe,but think it is a species we dont see in the trade.. - got 3 subadult (22 -27cm) L.affinis swimming in our 1000liter display tank if you are interested...

    Where is the pic from?
    some context will help.
    The colour contrast is very attractive, and I have not SEEN the bar as yellow-orange as pictured...very Wasp-, Hornet-, or BumbleBee-like

    Wider, fewer bars points to Leporinus fasciatus...THOSE, we can get if the demand from shops, and essentially hobbyists, is significant.
