Paying it forward Ferdie style

While Clare was bussy oganizing the Osmocote shipments Ferdie stept forward and said but he can give 6kg of Osmocote to who wants it. Not to derail Clares order we desided to hold on to this for a while.

My idee behind this whole 'project' is to pay it forward.so first of this is not a free for all. I have selected 2 members from this forum whom I know will be able to carry the torch further. @f-fish started this by supplying @Rainstorm with plants, she payed it forward by sending Osmocote and plants to another member, who's name I completely forgot but he will hopefully forgive the old people on here for it. I have so far given 1kg to one of our workers who has his own vegetable garden at work to help him grow better vegetables. Another 1kg went to a teacher from my daughters school, unfortunatelly not a member here, who has the most amazing planted Dicus tanks. She helped my daughter through so bad patches in her life, for which I will ever be gratefull to her. I know she will pay it forward to who ever crosses her path.

I' will be sending off @Clappies his Osmocote he bought from Clare in this week but will do my part in paying it forward to him.

This leaves me with 4kg of Osmocote that I will share on behalve of Ferdie with 2 people whom I believe will pay it forward. @Ladysphinks and @TropicalBoy the ball is in your court. Please pm me so whe can arrange collection from me in Centurion. If you are not capable of collecting it from me please let me know then I can forward it to somebody else.

Sorry seems like I have a bad habit of derailing things .. I'll add some in for Ladysphinx when I send her some plants if that is OK .. need to make up some weight ;-)

BTW - many many people have payed it forward on TASA over the years - nice to see it having some momentum again.

You started it for me and whould love to return the favour one day. Helping one another is what it is all about. You should have seen my wifes reaction when I told here she must collect 12kg of Osmocote from Postnet. Priceless.

Wow you guys are awesome, TASA is quickly becoming to feel like a family hangout. I've been going through a rough patch due to me losing my job in Desember and keeping my hobby going. You guys inspired mevto keep going even with a minute budget for my fish. Well I'm starting a new job on monday and I really hope this will stick because the pay is relly really good. But I honestly want to thank you guys for being so awesome.

That is awesome! I hold thumbs that it will turn out well for you. I'm still struggling to find a job after 4 years - it's bad here. Half of the companies / recruitment agencies are too scared to bring me in for an interview because I'm deaf and they don't know how to handle it or how to deal with it.

 

I left the extra 2kg out of the sentince to her with good reason. I'm only 45 now but nothing makes you feel older than when someone calls you Oom.
