    Hi Eros111

The tank looks good. Fish look happy also.
Now if there were just no psychadelic discus in there it would have been even better....-just kidding.

If you find they are a bit dark in general appearance try switching the light off thats by the bottom of the tank. It can be confusing for them and they then react by being a bit darker. I see the blue diamonds for instance are a tad dark in the pictures. If not dont worry about it.

Looking good though and nice to see such happy discus. Good on you!

    Rgds

    Marco

Great looking tank, love the simplicity took of the tank. Really makes the fish pop.

Thanks to everyone - and thanks to @Marco. I am going to change the lighting - the lights I have in there at the moment give the fish unnatural colours I have to agree. In the smaller 500L tank that I have had them in for the last 9 months - growing them bigger - I had no direct lighting over the tank - other than normal low voltage room lights so never really saw their true colours. Going to get more natural looking colour - more white I reckon. Also want to put reflectors into the lights - gonna go search for some.
Also Marco, thanks for the advice to switch off the lower lights!!
I must say that there is still a lot of tannins in the water, so I am sure that will improve in the next few weeks or months, water looks very yellow at the moment.

Get Seachem Purigen in your filters if you want to remove the tannins quickly. It gets exhausted and you will need to regenerate/replenish it
