    So there I decided to attempt my hand at a low tech nano...

    Size: L46 X W22 X H30
    Capacity: 30.4L
    Substrate: Garden variety pea gravel bought at a landscaping company
    Hardscaping: Single driftwood log
    Lighting: Ai.M Bio-lux 20W T8 and JEBO Luxline Plus 10000K 25W T8
    Photoperiod: 14hours day to night
    Filtration: Penn-Plax 170l/h single sponge air inducing submerged filter
    Ferts: Flora-vital for macro nutrients. Seachem Flourish for micro nutrients. Seachem Flourish Excel for bio available carbon.
    Dosing Regime: Macro Nutrients – 10ml weekly. Seachem Flourish – 1ml weekly. Seachem Excel – 1ml daily
    Plants:
    Bacopa Monieri – Baby Tears
    Lobelia Cardinalis – Cardinal Flower
    Microsorium Pteropus var. Narrow – Narrow Leaf Java Fern
    Syngonium podophyllum var. 'White Butterfly' – White Arrowhead
    Echinodorus Amazonicus – Amazon Swordplant
    Vallisneria Spiralis – Straight Vallisneria
    Livestock: None

    @Vis the vallis took a beating from the excel then recovered. Then the meds delivered the final blow.

    @Vez yip it is the lights I got from you. Got something special planned for the two 3ft tanks
