I honestly meant to clean out the Garage (fish room) this morning....Going through boxes with parts of pumps/filters/heaters.... some dating back to the early 70's..... I haven’t got the guts to just throw them away.

There are at least 100 under gravel filters that only need the uprights.... 30 submersible pumps, 10 cartridge filters (eheim & fluval) that just need "O" rings.... 30 air pumps that need new diaphragms.... 30 heaters with (maybe) small problems... at least 15 tanks (outside) with minor cracks or leaks.....

I accept.... I am a hamster when it gets to hoarding stuff.... Maybe I should just close my eyes & dump all of it.

Why not take some pics and see if anyone's interested in buying a few bits.
    The filters sound interesting...

I have found that keeping old used equipment on hand has saved me tons of cash Cheetah. My own extra equipment also runs to many dozens of things that I can't use at present. Just last week I decided to try to upgrade the lighting in one of my 10 gallon tanks and found that I had kept a simple 18 inch fixture in my extras store. I ended up using the bulb from a spare light strip to light up my tank but I also noticed that the light over my kitchen sink matched the fixture I was looking at for my tank. The end result was a simple upgrade of the lighting over the kitchen sink and a new and improved fixture over the tank along with a significant upgrade of the tank's lighting. You really never know when an item set aside for a tank will prove handy in your home.
