daddy with baby.jpgdaddy with baby.jpghad the pleasure o watching my angels moving the wrigglers from the amazon leaf where they laid the eggs which is right next to the outflow from the filter(wondering if that was on purpose)to the middle of tank where its a bit calmer.

Try seeing whether a slightly warmer water change will spur them along, not TOO warm obviously :blink1:

about taking out the parents, what happens in nature? also are your angel parasite free? thats the only reason i can think of removing the parents....

    Those are beautiful Angels.

If the parents are the only other fish in the tank, I would leave them.

what i have read is angels only lost that parental instinct as a result of breeders being greedy and taking out eggs so that the parents can get going with the next batch. if your angels still have that instinct i would say let nature have its own way, they will also grow to become gr8 parents...

the other problem is water changes, its now that time again.this is the first time that this process has gone on so long,i dont want to do anything thats going to stress them to much.should i leave it?

Ok,I did a roundabout waterchange and all was fine the fry are now freeswimming and the parents have their fins full keeping them together, should I remove them?I'm scared they might wander into enemy territory.

I would leave them at this point. You said you only have some timid bottom dwelling fish, plus, the parents are very vigilant. I't a good exercise.

If the fry don't survive, they will spawn again.
