@Hawk i know they need a lot of space i have been monitoring them closely as i don't want them to fight... :) and yes 4 of them, it was a spur of the moment buy, i love them.

@wade the hole is drilled in the top right hand corner running horizontally out, it almost breaks even with the water, wanted to use the little space a best as possible.

Im looking in selling this tank soon and getting myself a bigger tank, want to go back to a 400 to 500 liter tank.

Cool. I found mine to be peaceful with my other fish and each other until spawning and then they turn into demons. My breeding pair did some serious damage to my adult Scalare's! I love Rams but sadly my latest male has turned into one of those horrible baloon ram/hybrids! Lovely colour but I'm not fond of the body shape...

@Hawk I agree with the Balloon shape, my rams had a go at my Black Velvet Angel, but quickly saw its not match, but if you want a strange match you will notice that i have a 5 Bar cichlid and 4 brichardi cichlid's in the tank with them, and neither of them fight :) i was a bit scared of getting more than one 5 Bar as some of them have really bad attitudes.

Trust me, when your rams are in breeding mode they will take on huge fish and put them in their place. My rams would lay eggs on the one side of the tank and all my other fish would be pasted against the glass on the opposite side of the tank and still the rams would go across to them to fight
