multiple questions so goiing to post them all at once here.

okey dokey so now that i'm back in pta my mom has been feeding and keeping an eye on my tanks at home which is cool, she seems to like it lol. anyway the other day she had to drain her goldfish pond because of a leak and she found some fry which she put in my 1.2m without my knowledge ( read was not impressed). so last weekend i had a chance to really sit and look at my tank, i had added a second globe from jebo which really makes a diffrerence, anyway i noticed my biggest angel now has a small wart like growth just above his gill which i havnt noticed before but which is similar to what my mom has on her gold fish and im sure you can see where this is going..... question what could it be?

second problem i also lost my male 3 spot gourami and my female is looking very lonely but im nervous of getting another as i dont want her to bully it as it'll probably be alot smaller than her, i dont know why it died but found it when i got home one friday it had patches of reddish skin all over which i assume is from fighting? i got 2 pairs of angels in here too. i know i cant get a another type or could i? saw some lovely ones i've never seen before red with like blue tiger stripes.

third problem in my 70L with one betta and 5 khulis i have a problem with this brown gunk thats all over everything, the plants the rocks and the wood. think filter gunk type thing. i dont know if the filter is releasing it and if so what do i do to stop it, or could it be cos i've baffleed the filter outlet? it really looks nasty and untidy and i'm sure its not good for the fish. when i get home i have to remove the betta and run the filter unbaffled and with the big ornament removed for over an hour and then the water is still cloudy. i rinse the ornaments off in the bath and theres so much stuff that comes off its really nasty

so those are my dilemas thanks for any help

hmm the gunk could come from over feeding?

 

i doubt it @shihr i've given my mom strict feeding instructions for that tank, the tip of a nail file for the betta and 1 bottom feeder pellet 2x a week so that the khulis eat the snails like they suppose to. it seemed to be better last weekend but i'll see how it looks this weekend. thanks for the suggestion tho
