THE most incredible thing I have EVER seen in 20 years of fishkeeping happened inside my tank this morning! I had an ANGEL FISH male spawn with a FEMALE DISCUS! I have looked EVERYWHERE for info on this, and I cant find any info or confirmation that this has EVER happened before!

I am sure the eggs will not hatch, but what if! Long finned Discus, black Discus (angel is a double black)!

Put in for a a few weeks leave at work. Stay at home and watch over them. Kill any fish that tried to eat the eggs.

Not sure what sounds better, would the offspring then be an Anscus or a Disgel, but perhaps the prof has already seceretly bred them ?

Do you keep angels and discus together? I thought they shouldn't be in a tank with each other.
