    Hi guys and gals

I have a quick question about daphnia which Google seems to have a hard time answering, I have on more then one occasion suddenly had what seems to be daphnia appearing in my aquariums , they generally don't last long and generally only appear if fish stocks are low or after I remove fish from quarintine, I do feed my fish frozen daphnia on a regular bases so my question is , is there some how eggs or young daphnia that can survive being frozen and then go on to hatch/repopulate an aquarium if the conditions are right for them to do so ?

Yes, very possible. In the northern hemisphere most pond freeze in winter, come summer daphnia abounds, same for drought conditions.
The easiest way to start breeding daphnia is be dropping in a cube of frozen daphnia
