life tech heaters are fully submersible?

    Hi guys,

    Do you know if Life tech heaters are fully submersible also what is the min water lever for?

    Yes, they are fully submersible.

    The min water level is the max amount that the heater can stick out of the water. so the water should not be below that level. If the heater stick out of the water more than that level you run the risk of burning the heater out or even exploding.

    I spoke to my LFS the other day and asked him the same question he told me to stick to the min level I had three off them and after two monthes the they were wet inside and I felt a electrical shock and took them out, now I use them in the adoption tanks with the water at min level.Yes they are fully submersible
