Just a quick question, has anyone used a car LED bar as a light for their tanks ? and what was the results.

Im, having good results with the T5 quad unit, but looking to replace it soon. Maybe something like below ?

Depends on what size tank you want to use it on. 300W is a lot of light. It might also be a warm white led with isn't 100% there color spectrum you want.

Aren't they pricy? Ardendorff has light bars and waterproof floods and the floods are 4 times cheaper per Watt

They are pricey yes, was just curios to see if someone has done it, or used them on a tank yet.
