I think my kribs are breeding, not 100% durew yet but they have really dug out one of the upturned pots and yhe female is in there and she hasn't come out for two days now not even to feed really she just crabs pieces of food that is floating past the mouth of the pot. The guppies also seems to avoid the the area. Though the kribs aren't particularly agro as I thought they will be.

Now I have to wait and see. So excited........

Also had a pair a few years ago... amazing how their colours change
They are agro but not agro that they go out and look for trouble... they protect their territory
They remind me of little jack russels that think they can take on the big dogs!!

 

Yes they are and they don't really attack only chase away intruders in their territory. I'm supper excited though since I got into fish keeping I have always wanted a pair of kribs. Still have some fishies on my wish list but being able to care for them properly is more important.

My Kribs have babies, was feeding my fish this morning and was surprised by the femalevout and about with cute little fry surrounding her. Yesterday I was worried a bit since she was in her cave and closed it off completely nothing in, nothing out. Before that they didn't show any breeding behaviour at all. She was still around and feeding.

Will try and get a pic worth posting if possible.
