Hi I I here to ask which is better.

Ok there is a guy I now who broke up a breeding setup/pet shop it cost him nothing to make basically.
He built tanks using old glass but were standard and you could not tell the difference and in most of his tanks he had no heaters or plants other than java moss which he grew himself. He made stands from metal he had and he used office lights and filters were either sponge or gravel.(22 tanks)

Now we all now how expensive fish keeping.
    Now here is a quote
    tank 3ft R300
    hang on filter R200
    heater R130
    light R150

    total
    R780

And not including fish ,gravel and decorations.

Now if I could do this for this price would it be Fine or bad idea

    R20 tank any size
    R20 pump
    R50 sponge filter
    free office lights
    free shelving

and it will take a lot more time

for i will have to build all of this.

    Hi,
sorry but i can't quite make out what you are asking, mind rephrasing your question?

Are you selling tanks, building them for this guy, offering to build them for members on the forum etc?

    Regards
    Will
