Hi guys need some help identifying a disease in my tank.

Background: so a few weeks ago i noticed one of my bronze cories had white cotton like fungus growing close to one of the fins.
I remedied this by doing partial water changes, by putting the fish in a quarantine tank which was still running off my main tanks filtration as to not put additional stress on the fish. I also dosed my tank with aquarium salt as well as adding zeolite to my filter.. seemed to work according to my father (i moved out and left the tank in his care)

Fast forward to now.. i noticed two more corriea have the fungus again (think its the same one and an additional one).

Can i get some assistance identifying the exact disease for easier treatment and should i just go through the same process again?

Hi there, had the same thing (fungus) happen to one of my cories. Did the salt like you, but I added 10ml of general aid and 2 rooibos tea bags. I have 3ft tank. Have not had the problem again. Also, I add 2 tea bags every week.

Do you add the rooi bos tea bags directly to the filter? Does it do anything specific? Sounds interesting think ima give it a try but dont wanna upset the balance in the tank too much

Check ammonia and Nitrates also monitor that your water temp stays constant, this should prevent future infections.

@TIMMY21 search rooibos on this forum. Many discussions went on about it.

Go to your lfs and see what medication they have that will treat a fungus infection.
