    Hello Guys

so other than the Co2 problem i had this morning i have had a thought and wanted to know if anyone know how and maybe could assist with growing HC emersed

i want to get that full carpet and in the tank i just dont have the space and the small amounts of it keep getting eaten by the mollies so i thought why not grow it emersed and then move the carpet in

    any thoughts?

Use any plastic container with a lid that can close. The sandwich containers from garages work really well. Or 5l Fruit juice bottles. Fill it with garden soil, plant yout hc, punch a few holes in the lid, keep it very moist, keep it in filtered sun.

    Will do great

just put normal garden soil in a tupperwear or container that is clear. next fill said container until water is just below soil level. plant plants in said container. cover with glad wrap or lid or both so that you create an air tight seal. place in a spot that gets morning sun only. they will dry out if they get too much afternoon sun. open up every week or so to replenish the air and admire all your growth

it grows pretty fast but the best benifit is that there is no algae or expensive ferts which are normally needed to grow hc this fast
