What it looks like to me is a gold morph of the ram cichlid.

Unless you are thinking it is something else?

I talking about what she is looking at, I have two rams, a blue and a golden, the male died about 2 weeks ago, and I think she has laid eggs. I know birds lay eggs even if there isn't a male, but do fish?

    Fish can, yes.

As far as I know, these fish can't store sperm. And I have not heard of parthenogenesis in rams, either. So it is quite likely that those eggs are not fertile.

Alternatively, those are another fish's eggs. Is she not eating them? What other fish are in the tank?

    But keep us updated.

She seems to be standing watch over them, and the other cichlids are kribs and agassizis. I know that rams are delicate and I'm assuming her laying eggs is a good sign

These eggs will not hatch and eventually will turn white and will get fungus or will be eaten by other tankmates.
