You would need to post pics for is to confirm.

You will get eggs before you get fry

If they are about to breed they will generally be cleaning a flat surface on a rock or something sturdy as well as re-shaping your gravel.

It is a bit odd that three have extended Ovipositors.

How many Fronts have you got in total?

Sounds positive, keep at it and see what happens, up to one of the males to figure out what's cooking now, if I'm not mistaken you can expect males to reach breeding age later than females.
Females may hold a few times before carrying to full term as well.

Whatever you do with Fronts and Altolamprologus, don't get impatient - they're always getting there!

@Ebrahim - care to enlighten us?

Ja Mr. Stone..... will do. When it comes to breeding frontosa Zaire blue is the most difficult to breed (aspacialy Moba and the guys in cape town are struggling with Mikula too.) Burundi is easy. Most if not all of them in south africa are tank raised. This what you do with Burundi. Get them into a room of their own, no movement what so ever, only feeding time. Change water regularly. Try to get info on the bucket sistem, it works for many burundi breeders. Feed good food. Make very little changes to the aquascaping. When they spawn dont tumble, they will hold. Be patient..... thats it. I have bread them and needed a new challenge and l got it.....:)

Excitement!!!! Lekke!!! Try to have as little movement as posible in from of the tank. You dont whant to disturb them unnecessary at this stage.

Never change water and filter media at the same time. You loose bacteria. That can be one of the causes. The tap water another one. PH change another. I hope some one can chime in here cause this not a frontosa specific issue. Any one?
