Fridge water.

Hi Guys

Is using water from a fridge dispenser safe for top ups and water changes?
If so do you still need to add dechlor?
Obviously the water is cold so will 1st be put in a bucket with heater.


Does using this water benefit me? What is it removing that normal tap water has?

Nice idea you thinking about there... Not sure if the coldness of the water will change anything to the water.

As far as I know the only benefit you will be getting is water that is filtered for human consumption... and generally speaking, that just means it goes through a carbon cartridge which is in the fridge. If this cartridge hasn't been replaced recently... all you going to get is cold tap water.
Would be a waste of the cartridge and electricity to cool the water in my opinion.
