Hi Oupoot,

Why did the house almost flood, isn't the siphon supposed to break if the sump pump doesn't work?

Sorry I didn't read the whole thread, just wondering what is going to happen if there's a power failure and your not at home.

 

IT does break, my tank was just too full and my t peace to measure the water level was at the bottom of the tank and not where i want the water level to be

A comment from my side, make sure the pvc overflow inlet in your main tank is below the level to which you drain your tank for water changes, otherwise you have to re-create the syphon each time
