Continuosly spawning Jag

    I have a female jaguar chichlid and she seems to be continuosly spawning ( probably the reason why she has been so insanely aggresive). She lives alone in the tank. She finished spawning about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed that she had stopped eating, her stomach is bloated and her sexual organ (not sure of name) is protruding. Is this kind of continuous spawning cycle normal? If not what could be causing this? Also any ideas of where I could find a male in Cape Town?

    @ATV,

    You need to be very careful when you introduce a male, or the might attack and kill each other.

    Might be a good idea to put up a perspex divider in the tank, and then have each one on the other side. That way they get used to each other slowly.
