    Hi everyone.

The For Sale section is getting a bit of a revamp to try and make everything more uniform and easier to read. It should be finalised and implemented later today, if all goes well. Basically whenever you want to sell something and click on the New Thread button you will be re-directed to a list of online forms where you will choose the appropriate one and fill it out. Once you have filled it out your thread will be created. Easy peasy. Some of the questions are compulsory, these are marked by an asterisk *.

A reminder for any new members: you have to have been registered for 30 days AND have a minimum of 20 posts before you will be allowed to sell anything on the forum. Any PM's to a moderator asking them to override this will not be accommodated. ;)

    Thank You.

    Hi Zebra,

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but after this change I cannot post to the classifieds section asking for something. Instead it always directs me to one of the forms to fill out for a sale.

Edit: nevermind If figure the last section under the classifieds is for wanted and so forth.

Hey @Zebra Pleco - please look into this if you're not already.

I've picked up on the follow errors when posting Hardware classifieds...

    1. Thread title becomes [fs]:,
    2. "Photos and Description" and "Notes" read the same, as seen here: [fs]: ,
    3. In the adding form, the Photos and Description box doesn't seem to give me the option to uploading or insert images.

    Cool man, like the idea!

    Enjoy!
    Jack

    @Zebra Pleco,

Ja, one can never win with software.
Thanks for sorting out my thread name, would you mind doing this one too? [fs]: ,

Shweet and shweet, yeah, maybe I just can't find the button but I assure you I've looked (in the cupboard) and there is no (sugar) upload button.
Cool man, always keen to help, I sure use that section of the forum enough.

It seems like the normal image upload button doesn't play nice with the forms, so photo's will have to be uploaded using the Attachments button instead.

If i can maybe make a suggestion, is it possible to add a filter to the for sale section, for location, so that if you live in gauteng you can select a filter for gauteng and it only show classifieds for gauteng?

You could use the "search forum" function, but then not many people put 'Gauteng' as their location, they mostly put their towns/cities as locations.

Did the number of posts required to post in the Classifieds forum go up? I've got more than the required 20 posts, but can't post to it?

As an aside, is it possible to see the "business rules" about when you can post to which forums / do different actions?
