Hey guys, just joined the forum yesterday.

Have any of you been to Tropical Aquariums in Circular Dr, Lorraine? The guy I got my first tank from, recommended them for good pricing and service.
I went there at around 4pm on two seperate days in the week, but they were closed both days. The sign says they are open until 5pm.

Ended up buying my first female molly from Petz World, a small new shop, which opened up last month, also in Circular Drive.

What's Petz World like?

 

Petz World is about the size of a bachelor's flat, selling a small variety of tropical fish and birds, including some hand-reared parrots.
I like the simplicity of the place eg. all the prices are hand-written and the shop has a cosy, home-made look.

The owner, Steven, was very friendly, helpful and all his advice did concur with my research.
Said he was previously working for a local petshop(the name escapes me now) for about two years.
He even told me that I should bring in my tank and he'd set it up for me, free of charge.

Now, where else can I look for some Blue Mickey Mouse Platies and some aquarium plants locally?

 

Do anyone of you here in PE have some extra Hornwort() that you want to dispose of? I'll collect, np. Thanks.

Am also from PE and would like to get involved. The fish shop in the Bridge Greenacres has pretty decent prices. Also anybody been into the one in Cape Rd.

That would be Finz, they been around for years but only recently relocated to Cape rd, they used to be in the Mount Pleasant area. The staff are helpful and the prices reasonable.
