Even with google, it sometimes takes someone to explain it plainly in a manner than anyone can understand.

 

@col182 , haven't seen any mention of you placing the tank in an area that recieved moonlight and early morning light (not direct light) , everything I've read over the years suggest that the moonlight and dawn trigger spawning, seeing as you had all other parameters spot on maybe you could try this suggestion.

 

Hi @L2000 , I haven't heard of the moonlight thing , what I have heard of is the tank being completely covered and then slowly exposed to slightly more light , very little at a time to trigger the spawning , so now that you say that it could make sense that the technique could be simulating either moon light or sunrise , thanks for the info , everything must be looked at and used for best results.
