Are these hardy fish or does it need special treatment?
My brother tried twice keeping these and both died Im not exactly sure witch one he had just know it was a algae eater like he called it.

If you give them correct water maintenance, and feed them the proper food, they will be very hardy. My Cory's are going on 3 years now! (Cory's need to be in groups no less than 5)

Just rememebr that Khuli's are very sensitive to chemicals. If you do want, make 100% sure you have no ick. And if I recall, they prefer a well cycled tank too.

Ok will do my fish look much better already still need to do quite a few water changes and my temp is up to 28 degrees butt hopefully my system is stable after a week or so.
Just one question. I adjusted my Canister filter to reduce the stream in the tank so the plants don't all lie down from the current if you know what i mean but increased the flow now with the Ich recovery phase.

I also had a pleco that past on the problem\mistakes i made was the feeding, i could not get that right. Now i have a healthy pleco thats going strong because i got the feeding right. (Do some research on how to feed them and it will save you the problems)

I also have corries for almost 3 years and they are going strong, like zoom said, keep in groups and also check how to feed. These are great fish to watch, very entraining.

    Hope this helps.

Would also go for the Bristlenose, they look a bit out of the ordinary :)
Corys are also lots of fun to watch and theres many different ones to choose from, they like a finer substrate though, I had mine in a pretty course substrate that had a couple of sharp edges and they didnt enjoy it very much, but now I have a very fine Substrate and it is so much fun watching them scavenge around the bottom looking for bits of food

Pleco's are fun. They love cucumber too, so if you have insuffecient algea, cucumber works well, water melon too apparently, never tried tho.
