aponogeton flowering

    My newly planted plant sent out a metre ish long stalk that just opened up a flower.very chuffed :)

    it happened to me. Just had my second flower from the same Plant. Do you think it one can collect the seeds to propagte?
    Ps mine flowered in a Malawi tank

    I had the same experience a while back - I was advised to let the seeds fall into the tank. I did, and they sprouted teeny leaves and some roots. I've since lost track of them in my jungles - if they survived!

    Just a quick question... When Aponogenton bloom it starts as a shoot with a small sharp looking bud right?
