Anybody Know what Spider this is?

    My friend found this spider in his garden in Cape Town, any ideas?

    Hi @Jagwa

    I think it's one of the crab spider species. There is an insect fundi on TASA. Just can't remember his name now.

    Looks like a jumping spider species to me (family Salticidae). Just judging my shape.

    Crab spider was the wrong suggestion. It could be family Eresidae (velvet spiders, social spiders, buck-spoor spiders).
