Aggro pleco

I have a small bristle nose ancistrus in my tank. He used to be very calm and shy. The last two weeks the bogger has managed to rip out all my foreground plants, he is attacking my corries, neons and siamese fighter.

Any ideas on how to calm him down? If not does anyone in Cpt want it? He is bout 5cm.

Oh you can have him free of charge - I think its a male. I honestly have no idea how to check. The only trick will be to catch him

 

males have bristles ontop of their snouts.

Any time sat or sunday this weekend is fine by me. Or in the evenings after 7:30.

That aggression is unusual for Ancistrus, except for large breeding males competing for caves or females. I have 2 normal ancistrus (male and female) and a large Starlight Ancistrus male and have had no issues with aggression amongst them or the other fish. Perhaps you just have a particulalry grumpy individual.
