    Hi Guys

    I have a 106LT tank 90cm with approx 140 baby Zimrocks in.

Would this pump & filter be too much as it will probably filter the tank between 30-40 times an hour.

    Please help here

    Thanks

That is way too powerfull for that size tank. Filtration of 5-10 times an hour should be fine, so something in the region of 500-1000 LPH should work well.

You can DIY a reducer valve for that pump. So I say you can use it just not at full flow. You can even buy a valve from any garden centre.

what type of pump is it?

You can modify the impeller of the pump to reduce its flow characteristics
