3ft tank update

Hello Guys and Girls

here is an update on my low tech 3ft tank... taken the Co2 out for about a week and its gone crazy... i dont understand but check it out some FTS

Looks very nice! What gourami do you have there? The one I can barely make out above the heater in the first pic. Or am I mistaken?

 

nope you are right that is a female 3 spot Goutami as far as i know will try get better pics of her.... in the tank is a few loaches, sword tales , micky mouse mollies, killifish, danios, plecos, rainbow shark, CAE,pair of Kribs and a pair of sail fin mollies

 

Really looks great! I am also burdened with only my phone for pictures - it doesnt do the tank justice haha

 

Nice set-up. Looks cool. I like the substrate what are you using ? and fertilisers etc?

 

@mono to be honest no fertilizers other than cat litter and PFP , the sub is mixed fine gravel a little fine black and white, the lighting is 2 t5s and 2 standard energy saving globes all on a really relaxed time span on when the suns up and off when the sun goes down no timer just me but thanx... could be better but still a work in progress if you look at my starter thread you will see how far its come from when i first started (thanks to this thread i might add)... oh i forgot up until a week ago i was dosing C02 but small amounts i think i just went with easy to grow plants that dont need too much techno stuff... as we learn how to place our plants is when your tank starts to become a thing of beauty http://www.tropicalaquarium.co.za/showthread.php?14649-what-you-think

i see you using my drift wood nicely, can i tell you the story of the smaller looking piece on the left, i work in construction and that piece of wood came out of a house where a lady had just passed away. we went in to clean and strip the house to start renovations for the new client. grabbed that piece of wood for my tank but could never find a nice place to put it. i like the look of your tank man!

 

It's like a house, you'll move things around constantly. Looking awesome!
