Add an Ottocinclus or three.... Or a very cool Bristlenose Ancistrus (i'm biased)

    Isn't 15gallon (55l) too small for bristlenose or a school of Otto's?

Is see a school of 4 Otto's in a 7g (google advice) so i would ideal want to add 6 of them and perhaps less tetra's

Please give me some concrete advice.

Tank has been running stable for at least 6months with one lost due to old age i suppose as it was slowly swiming less losing colour and difficulty staying up.

Ok, concrete advice - a 15 gallon tank is a bit small for most setups involving different fish in any significant numbers. With a tank that size its a constant balancing act given the decreased water volume.

BUT you can improve your odds with improved filtration (you didn't mention what filter you are running... so its pretty hard to give concrete advice).

Running a good filter that turns the water over more times in an hour without turning the tank into a whirlpool with allow you to stretch the number of fish you can keep, but within limits.

So if you're running a decent size HOB filter or mini canister you could get away with adding 4 Ottos and maybe a few more Neons (like 5 or 6, but not 14).

But like i said, it all depends on your setup.... and how often you do water changes etc.

Can you really do weekly water changes? Water scarcity is a major factor atm bro. Stick to the routine until we find ourselves in a better situation

I'd say no. Most of us are cutting down.

I am however possibly getting some Amano shrimp in. Good cleaners with low biolad :)

Last rcs was pulled to pieces by the neon tetras. There must be some fish i can add to my tank besides 6 neon tetras

By the way can't this filter hold more bioload. Was looking forward to ottos or more tetras

Amano shrimp are larger and could survive, many people have them in tanks with other fish
