i must have missed this because iv got alot of local inverts in my marine tank as well as local fish, ive never heard of needing a permit to keep...
And they wouldnt be illegal cos only fw shrimp are on the bl and for collecting u could simply use the post office marine invert permit :P...

be prepare to pay thru the nose for marine ply, i used normal ply, you can get it at builders express and they cut to size, i was lucky i got mine...

Yep but they are expensive, you could get away with plywood, my marine cabinet is built from that stuff
i used pine planks, painted it with woodoc marine, that was stained black

yes it is alot of work, but the reward is worth it, iv always liked discus thought, thinking of adding 2 small ones to my planted tank
