    Completely full . Best way is to do it . Is under water this ensures there's zero air inside , this will make it work 100%

    @Lysine . With the 3 in 1 , did you fill the unit with water before startup ? You should unscrew the top and screw it back on submerged in water .

    I run a small wavemaker near the top of my tank , near my c02 diffuser.I angle it downwards this keeps the small bubbles in circulation for longer...

    When I started my c02 up I didn't worry as much . I never checked the ph never had a drop checker and never had a problem. IMHO start at 1 bubble...
