This cracking tank story is giving me sleepless nights!!!! Every sound I hear now might be my tank breaking! Hahahaha. Touch wood.........
Sorry bud, no clue. I'm running a very low tech setup at this stage, relying mainly on the mulm for ferts. I've heard good things about flourish...
Your tank is looking good! I'm tempted to post a progress pic of mine, but I want it to settle a bit first. Good choice on the Ancistrus, i really...
I doubt the rubber bands would do much harm. I ended up using regular cotton thread though. I figured I could let it decompose naturally, and that...
Not a fan..... They don't look at all natural to me.
Hi Jerry, I reckon the Pleco will sort it out pretty quickly... Just hold off or reduce its regular feeding for a day or so. What Pleco did you...
Do yourself a favour and get some Tetra SafeStart. Works great!
Jeez what a beaut... Such a sad loss. My sincere condolences , can only imagine how you're feeling right now.
Welcome, and welcome back! Looking forward to some pics in future!
Taking a chance here, but do you perhaps have any moss left for sale? Stuff is pretty hard to come by in the pretoria area...

Hi folks, Any idea where I can get my hands on some java or Christmas moss? (Ideally in the pretoria east area...) I've pretty much covered most...
Thanks Pieter!
Damn! Thanks DewaldC!
Close! Platys instead of Mollies :)
Seriously? Hmmm. That's worrying.... Is there a sure way to tell? They seem happy....
Platys, Tetra, Zebra Danio, a dwarf gourami and a Bristlenose Pleco.
Nice! I like your roots/branch. Was looking for something similar for mine. My next tank I'll go for a "cleaner" look, I quite like it.
