i meant unused charcoal dust from the bottom of the bag. i read that some could be mixed with potting mix (gromor/grovida) that's what's available...
has anyone tried or heard of mixing braai charcoal dust to their potting mix?

i want to plant heavy from the beginning using fast growing plants coupled with bolbitis, anubias, mosses, buce rotala rotandifolia and java ferns...
the mole heaps is black soil with no stones, debris or pesticides. i was going to nuke it in the oven first before mixing with the potting soil......
