Nowadays in the pet shops, you only see small sized fish. Which sometimes annoying, because I have fish that are over 40cm long.

I can relate to that TombStone, I myself am a lover of eels. I have two Tire Track Eels, biggest is 39cm and smallest is 32cm.

Your banded eel is still small so dont think it is that,but it may try to kill really small fish.
